Brodick ferry terminal

Bradford Bob - you sly devil. This one took me a minute to work out; I must be getting old! He's obviously enjoying the many cocking opportunities on his holiday in Scotland - it's as Brod as it is long if you ask me..........

Keep careful watch Bob and a genuine thing called cock will come your way.

Yoghurt Dick

A renowned northern purveyor of active bacterial products.

Vampire Vigilantes

A fine children's author on loan from Colchester library

The return of the world's leading Dickensian author

Another one from my recent trip to London.

A fine artist nearly called cock

Spotted in a book shop window in Charring Cross Road London. I'm sure he was a tremendous painter - but he will always be remembered for making the infantile snigger.

Wilcox dumper truck

On the M4 again - we spend too much time there, thank goodness we have cocking to keep us amused!

The Tumbledown Dick

Another public house in Farnborough. Never been in but heard it might be a bit grim!

That would be a shame - with a name like this it deserves every success; come on Mr Landlord, let's see some corrective action.

Outside the Royal Albert Hall

I was partaking in a little cultural indulgence at last Thursday's Prom concert and during the interval found this fine fellow advertised as conductor for one of the concerts. I wonder if they would mind if I went to the concert and took a picture of the man himself. Maybe I could stalk him outside the stage door and demand his autograph?

Knob Creek

Mandy very rarely visits the pub, so it was a real coincidence that she found this nearly cock like, manky american attempt at whisky. Top marks for demanding the bottle be brought down from the top shelf (where the vile concoction will have been gathering dust for years no doubt) and brought within camera distance.

Willi or won't he?

Another one from the M4 near Reading. What a very large willi....

Cox - somewhere in York

From our newest and most enthusiastic recruit - apparently he lives in cockermouth the lucky swine - Shaun was out on the razz in York when he captured this "nearly" example - there may be other shoe shops called Cox or even Cocks in the UK - keep your eyes peeled!

Little Coxwell

As I promised last week, my faithful cocking multitude!

Massey Willcox

Captured by Timmy - looks like queue of traffic in the north somewhere...........

Great Coxwell Tithe Barn

Near Faringdon on the A420 between Oxford and Swindon - and another splendid example of double entry - a nearly cock and a tit all in one! Little Coxwell is just down the road - I'll get that one later.

Sahkokatkos

No idea what this is all about or what the peculiar finnish accent over the "o" in kok means - Helsinki proved to be rich hunting ground for those searching for "nearly cocks"......

Tikkurila Dickursby

Another splendid "close but no cigar" entry from Timmy captured on his recent trip to Helsinki - this looks like a bus timetable of some sort - wouldn't fancy asking a burly finnish driver if he could Tikkurila my Dickursby mind you!

Dennis Cox - landlord

He's the innkeeper at the Golden Fleece in Oakworth near Bradford in the north.

No news about the quality of this particular licensed victualler's wares. Any reviews would be welcome of course - nearly cocking can be a thirsty business!

Helsinki telephone directory

Top-notch cocking from Timothy - all the way from Finland and taken from the Helsinki telephone book. Some people will go to any lengths for the sake of capturing a good one!

Nicholas Kok - Principal Guest Conductor

From another new cocking colleague taking their first tentative steps into the wonderful world of cocking - keep seeking out those things called cock and get your next entry to us ASAP! Don't know anything about where this fine example of "nearly-ness" was found - perhaps someone could let us know?

Cox's architectural salvage

Captured somewhere on the M25 I think - its a bit blurred unfortunately - apologies for the lack of quality, but I think this one's nearly status is beyond question despite the fuzziness!

Hiscox

Captured in Colchester Castle Park during the annual food fair and french market. Hiscox are responsible for filling in any remaining green bits in Colchester with cheap and nasty homes for first time buyers. Thanks a bundle Prescott you fat buffoon.

Send your letters of complaint to them here at their expensive head office in Colchester!
